Time for a revamp

We had some family photos, done the other week, as a fundraiser for Jarred's kindy. The last time we had photos taken, of all of us was when Jarred was a baby. Very sad. So I thought I would update the blog with the latest photos of all of us.

Christmas comes to Hamilton

Last night Christmas came to Hamilton, with the official lighting of the Christmas Tree and Santa and his real reindeers, made an appearance. The weather was icy - it was about 6 degrees outside. We had a big storm blow through about three o'clock with strong wind and hail. It cleared but was still so cold. We might get a white Christmas yet!!!!

Kloe asked Santa for craft things and Jarred didn't know what he wanted. Santa gave the kids a goodie bag. They just loved it.

Little Treasure hunters

Yesterday I had the privilege of having Jarred's kindy class, teachers and parents come to our house, as part of their treasure hunt around town. They all started at the gardens in town and followed clues, around town trying to find the treasure box. The treasure box was hidden at our house. It was a big surprise, not event the parents, were told were they were going. You should have seen Jarred's face when they arrived here - he was so excited and surprised - it was priceless. It was so much fun. The kids played, collected eggs, watched the horse, looked at the veggie garden, patted the chooks. They had lunch inside as it was so cold and windy outside. It was so nice to be part of the fun!!!

Sports Day

Kloe had Sports Day yesterday. I got to go and watch her for a little while before I had to rush home for my little treasure hunters.

The girls

I love the follow through

Kloe is a little sore this morning. Her legs hurt!! Poor little thing. She had lots of fun

It's that time of the year

when I would love to hit the pause button. Busy, busy, busy.

A quick update:

Jarred - has been to big school for two orientation sessions. He says he doesn't need to go to kindy anymore because he is a big school boy now. He is so ready for school, just not sure weather I am ready for him to be going.

Kloe - is doing really well at school. Her reading and writing is coming along. We are just having to work really hard on her maths. She is just like her Mum and is always busy creating.

Zac - Tee ball team won again last week. He is really enjoying playing, even more so, that they are winning. OMG he has a girlfriend. He is very friendly, with lots of girls. He has been invited to a girls party on Friday night, he is the only boy. He thinks that is pretty cool (and so does DAD!!!) He is becoming a very social boy. He had a testing day at his new school on Monday for Year 7 next year.

Kayla - is studying for exams. She has made some lovely friends and is very happy at her new school. She got her subject selection for next year and is very happy.

Chris - cricket team is not doing too well - very sore subject. Work is super busy. He is fighting lots of crows in the veggie garden. Lots of netting went up last night to try and stop them.

Me - I'm just running around in circles, after all of them. I'm trying to fit in some creating in between. I have been asked by school to put together photos for their yearbook, a slide show for their presentation night. I have a cricket calendar to finish................I'm busy and I'm loving it. I also have Jarred's kindy class coming here on Thursday for a farm experience - to see the animals, collect eggs, look at the veggie garden and have lunch. It should be fun.

Some recent things have been making - I've been making lots more, just can't show you yet.....

Ribbon, beautiful ribbon

DIVAS November ribbon club samples. This ribbon is gorgeous.

It's been another super busy week in our household. Lots of places to be, lots of things to do.
Tracey, Helmut and the boys, dropped in for a quick visit on Friday night. They drove down for the Melbourne Cup and decided to come a bit further. It was so nice to catch up with them.
Saturday night we went to pirate party for a friends 30th birthday. It was so much fun. They had gone to so much trouble. The house was all decorated, everyone was dressed up - nope I didn't take any photos. It was a great night.
Chris played cricket on Saturday. They were rolled for 42
but wait for it..................................
They got the opposition out for 28. He was on such a high. It's a two day game, so they are batting again next weekend.
Jarred had Milo Cricket yesterday. He was so excited. He was named 'Best player' yesterday. He gets a Mc Donalds voucher next week.
I have a mountain of 'scrapping' work to get done. My to do list grows each day.
Have a great week
