3 Angels Scrapping - Retreat Workshop

Over the weekend the girls at 3AS had their first ever retreat in Sydney. I wasn't able to go, but I put together this workshop for all the lovely ladies. The girls requested a workshop using transparency and stitching. It's a bit hard to tell from the photos - the heart outline and the butterfly in the third layout are clear. The papers are 'Love Shack' from Bo Bunny.

I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. I can't wait to see every one's creations.

This is also my last project for 3AS. I have resigned my position. I would like to thank Jo and Rosy for asking me to be part of their team. It's been lots of fun. And to all the lovely girls at 3AS, thank you for your support and friendship.

Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft

I have two cards in the latest Collectors Edition of Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft. What a lovely surprise I got when I opened my contributors copy and saw my 'Happy Hellos' card on the cover (bottom right). I have been so lucky, to have a few make the cover now. I was also asked, to make this 25th Anniversary card for this edition.

Last Project

This is my last project I created, using the June Full Tart Kit.

I would like to thank Philippa for having me as a guest designer, for the last three months. I have loved creating, with these wonderful kits.

Lime Tart - June Project

As soon as this kit arrived, I knew what I wanted to make with it. I bought this frame from Lincraft, it is recessed and perfect for adding bits with dimension. It is now hanging in our lounge room. I still have one more project to share with you, using the Lime Tart June Kit.

The Party

The weather held off for the birthday party. It was cool and windy, but the sun kept peeking through the clouds.

The time just flew by. We planned lots of other games, but the kids just wanted to play. And play they did. They all had a fantastic time. Jarred was very spoilt, with lots of lovely gifts.

Birthday Boy

It was Jarred's 6th Birthday on Wednesday.
He got a huge surprise with his new 'big' boys bike.

Before school

Ben 10 cupcakes ready for school. I made these while he was at school, so he got a surprise.

I took the cupcakes into school just before the end of the day.

The birthday boy requested Macca's for dinner

He wanted a Ben 10 ice cream cake. This ended up being really easy to make. I semi melted 5 litres of choc chip icecream (Jarred's favourite), lined a large cake tin, poured in the icecream, covered and let it set. Turned it out and then decorated. I printed off a Ben 10 picture and laminated it and then piped around it - popped it on the cake before serving. He just loved it!!!

Today we are having a 'friends' party for him, which is starting soon. More photos to come :)

Winter is here

Winter is definitely here, it is so cold - icy cold. But it's nice, toasty and warm by the fire :)
