I'm still here

I've just been taking a break from things and enjoying the school holidays with the kids. It has gone way too quickly for my liking. I love school holidays and having the kids at home. We went shopping today and the man in the shop told me I was mad, when I told him this today.

This months Build it up challenge for SCRAPZ are these super quick and easy mini pizza gift boxes. You can find all the instructions in the forum. Make one of these boxes and upload it in the gallery and you can have a chance of winning a $15 shopping voucher, you gotta be in it to win it.

My Minds Eye Lush

Our latest challenge for Addicted to Craft, was to use the new My Minds Eye Lush range and create a page using 5 pattern papers, gems and brads. You can see the girls other creations on the BLOG

Jarred will be 7 tomorrow, so I thought it was about time I used up these photos, that I have had sitting around for the last year. None of the photos were great, but they told the story.

More crappy photos but a very important story to tell. Zac performed in the school musical last year. It's so not his thing, but he did it.

Winter Woolies

Wool and I don't get along - well so I thought.......................

I was reading Sheree's blog and she had created some gorgeous crocheted items and added some links, to learn all the how to's. So armed with hook and wool, I went about teaching myself how to crochet. Well................... I spent a lot of time unpulling, re doing, unpulling and re doing. I was determined to get it. And get it I did. I was so pleased with myself. It's something I have been wanting to learn for a very long time. Thank you Sheree xoxo

Sweet 16

16 OMG!!! How did this girl get to be 16 so quickly?

A quick photo before school. It was a cold, frosty and very foggy morning. Just like the day she was born.

She is obsessed with Master Chef. When she saw them make the Black Forrest Cake a few weeks ago, she immediately told me that is what she wanted for her birthday cake.

Black Forest Cake - Mum Style :) This thing was huge and weighed a tonne. It was so rich you could only eat 1/2 a piece. Kayla loved it so much, I've been told I have to make it again.

Bliss Classes

I have a few more classes scheduled to teach at BLISS in Warrnambool.
I will be teaching on July 3rd, July 17th, July 31st at the retreat and also on 7th August. The classes at the shop, include all materials, just bring alphas for your title. In each class we will create 2 layouts and a card. You can contact Sarah through the BLISS site for further details.

How?

This week my big girl will be 16. How did that happen? How is it, that I am the mother of someone, that can get her learners permit in a few days. I decided to play along with Deb and her Document with Deb challenge this week at SCRAPZ.BIZ. I journaled about how I feel about my girl. Thanks for the inspiration Deb.

Class at Bliss

It's been a crazy busy week. The time has just flown by.

Yesterday I got to teach a lovely group of ladies at BLISS in Warrnambool. Sarah sent me the new Fancy Pants Family papers to work with. We created these two layouts and of course a card with the scraps. I will be teaching at the Bliss retreat in July and I will also be doing some more classes soon.

My page I created for last weeks SCRAP.BIZ challenge has been accepted for publication, so I can't show you that. This week it was my turn to set the blind challenge. You can find all the details in the FORUM. My challenge will have you going around in circles.
