Hot, hot, hot.........

Bring it on I say!!! It's going to be 39 today and about the same for the rest of the week. I am loving not being cold!!! Ok, maybe 39 is a little too hot - but I will take the hot over the cold any day. Everything is going brown. We desperately need some rain.

I am very happy to report that the front of the house is DONE!!!! All painted and finished. We even cleaned down and oiled the deck. I have to take some photos. I started on the back - everything is undercoated. Only problem is we need more paint and the paint shop in town won't have anymore until tomorrow. With the hot weather - it will have to be put on hold for awhile.

Almost back to school time - the kids all go back on Monday - lucky us we have a few extra days.

And some more 'Use up your stash pages'

Save some of that heat for the week after please. I do not like that cold weather you have down there....

Good to hear the front is finished I will not have time to swing a brush this trip. I will have to get the car ready.

my solution for staying out of the heat is staying indoors...and scrapping...LOL

I'll take the heat over cold most days too. If you like it hotter head up here to the 40's most days!
Well done on all that painting around your house. Hope you find the energy to finish the last bit
now. And loving your LO's too as always.

Wow, I'm surprise you've gotten any scrapping done at all, what with the painting. Yeah, you can't paint in extreme heat, much too hard work ;), and the paint dries too quickly. Are you still enjoying the hot weather? We're sweltering here in Adelaide - 45 yesterday, 44 today, 40 through until next week. I'm a bit over it...

All your layouts look fantastic Mel!! I have been creating today, after our get together yesterday. I have been making cards, Naomi made 2 also but soon got sick of it. Great BLOG!
